A privately owned 5,000-acre shooting estate in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Located at the head of Coverdale at 1,000-2,000 feet altitude. Grouse are the main sporting output with good stock of wild pheasant, duck, snipe and woodcock on the moorland fringe. Two full-time keepers manage grouse and lowland wild quarry. Ten-year Higher Level Stewardship agreement with Natural England for blanket bog and black grouse recovery.
