1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Field Day ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. The Service is operated by P Dewhurst.

2. Description of Service

Field Day is a game shoot management application that allows keepers to organise and manage shoots, and guns to view shoot details and respond to invitations. Features include shoot creation, drive management, peg allocation, bag recording, and attendance tracking.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.

4. User Types

The Service supports two user types:

  • Keepers: Can create and manage shoots, invite guns, allocate pegs, record bag, and manage drives.
  • Guns: Can view shoot details, accept or decline invitations, and view their peg allocations and bag records.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
  • Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications.
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

6. Content and Data

You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your data as necessary to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that any information you provide is accurate and does not infringe the rights of any third party.

7. Safety and Firearms

Field Day is an organisational tool only. The Service does not provide firearms safety advice or replace proper safety procedures. All users must comply with applicable firearms legislation and safety requirements at all times. The keeper is responsible for ensuring appropriate safety briefings and procedures are followed at all shoots.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • We shall not be liable for any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for any incidents, injuries, or damages occurring at shoots organised using the Service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms within the application. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
